I scream, you scream! Come experience popular flavors of the past and help us crank up batches of 18th and 19th century ice cream recipes. Families will experience both familiar flavors like mint, and unfamiliar flavors like orange flower water; use a historic ice cream crank, and then taste test the results!

The wonders of nature are a touch away when you are introduced to the world of animals by Jerry Zelenka. While blending excitement and surprise with care and understanding, Mr. Zelenka helps audiences of all ages develop an appreciation for all living things—from the ordinary to the exotic!

Celebrate Earth Day during this hour-long program at the New-York Historical Society. The audience is encouraged to touch and pet a variety of animals, including birds, lizards, tarantulas, alligators and snakes!

How can we talk about the toughest parts of our history with our children? To mark Yom haShoah this unique intergenerational family program presents the award winning 2012 short film, A Journey with Purpose, which documents three generations of the Becker family on their return to Auschwitz-Birkenau. We will be joined by the film maker, Gail Becker, and her son Joshua, as well as the organization Facing History and Ourselves.
