School Programs

Students test their history detective skills in the DiMenna Children’s History Museum, where your class can take advantage of this thematic and interactive approach to history. A visit to the DiMenna Children's History Museum will combine independent and small-group work in the gallery to help bring New York City and the nation’s history to young learners.

Students will learn history detective skills, explore childhood through history, work in small groups and be engaged learners.

Museum workshops are ninety minutes long and are offered Monday–Friday at 10 and 11:30 am.

Museum workshops are most appropriate for 4th–7th grades.

Book your school group visit now.

To prepare for your class's visit, be sure to make use of the DiMenna Children's History Museum curriculum and teacher programs.
