No cases, just the artifacts! Take your family behind the scenes to explore documents and objects that made history up close—just like a historian.

Please join us for this unique opportunity to experience history and view Gilder Lehrman Collection documents. This program is free with Museum admission, but reservations are highly recommended, as space is limited to 12 people per session. To reserve your spot, click here.

This month, Beth Huffer, Curator of Books and Manuscripts, will lead conversations with families about documents relating to scientific discovery and changing technology throughout American history. Highlights will include Abraham Lincoln’s patent, early airplane blueprints, and materials of the Manhattan Project.

Please contact familyprograms@nyhistory.org for more information and pricing.
