Free with Museum admission; Ages 8 and up

Get up close and personal with artifacts! Take your family behind the scenes to explore documents and objects that made history.

Please join us for this unique opportunity to experience history and view treasures from the Gilder Lehrman Collection. This program is free with Museum admission, but reservations are highly recommended since space is limited to 12 people per session. To reserve your spot, click here!

This month, Beth Huffer, Curator of Books and Manuscripts, will lead conversations with families about selected materials that have stories to tell about women in American History. Highlights include artifacts from the American Revolution through World War II and treasures relating to Lucy Knox, Mary Walker, Margaret Sanger, and Susan B. Anthony.
