Living History: Fighting the Battle of Brooklyn

Recommended for all ages
Free with Museum Admission

Every weekend through January 8, meet fascinating living historians and reenactors who bring the American Revolution to life inside the Museum, presented in conjunction with our groundbreaking exhibition, The Battle of Brooklyn.

On Sunday, January 8, the 2nd New Jersey Regiment, a reenacting troop, will be stationed at the Museum to answer your questions about life on and off the battlefield during the War for Independence. Take a close look at the uniform of a Revolutionary War soldier, hold some of their equipment, and line up to experience a military drill!

Once you’re trained and ready to learn more about Washington’s patriots, explore the exhibition with our Battle of Brooklyn Family Guide!
