Every weekend through January 8, meet fascinating living historians and reenactors who bring the American Revolution to life inside the Museum, presented in conjunction with our groundbreaking exhibition, The Battle of Brooklyn.

On Saturday, January 7, living historians from the Order of the Ancient and Honorable Huntington Militia will be stationed at the Museum to answer your questions about life on and off the battlefield during the War for Independence. This reenacting troop will demonstrate traditional crafts like leather-work, carving horns, or using herbs. You can also listen to songs played on historical instruments and line up to experience a military drill!

You can continue to explore 18th-century life in the exhibition with our Battle of Brooklyn Family Guide!f
