Living History: How Superheroes Got Super Strong
Saturday, February 20th, 2016 | 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

All Ages

Free with Admission

What makes someone strong? Superhero costumes have always been inspired by vaudeville, carnival, circus, and sideshow dress. Like strongpersons, these heroes rely on other strengths besides muscle: smarts, creativity, or morality. This is the final weekend N-YHS’s adventurous exhibition, Superheroes in Gotham. Come see the show and meet modern-day strongman Adam RealMan. Watch him perform superhuman feats of strength, including bending metal spikes with his bare hands!
