Living History: Inside a Soldier's Knapsack
Sunday, December 18th, 2016 | 11:00 am

Free with Museum Admission
Recommended for all ages

Every weekend through January 8, meet fascinating living historians and reenactors who bring the American Revolution to life inside the Museum, presented in conjunction with our groundbreaking exhibition, The Battle of Brooklyn.

On December 18, discover everything a historical reenactor needs to live as the American and British military did in 1776. Reenactor Vincent Costa will show you everything that the average soldier on both sides of the conflict carried, from tools for fighting and camping to personal items like books and toothbrushes.

You can continue to explore all of the fascinating equipment of Revolutionary War soldiers in the exhibition with our Battle of Brooklyn Family Activity Guide!
