Macy's Sunday Story Time: Building Manhattan
Sunday, August 30th, 2015 | 11:30 am

Welcome to the Big Apple! This month we’ll be reading stories that take us all around New York City.

Building Manhattan by Laura Vila

New York City hasn’t always looked the way it does today. The island of Manhattan has changed through the centuries from an isolated, trading outpost to a big city at the center of the world!

From the 17th to the 21st century, through fact and fiction, hear tales of New York City and the people who made it great.

Support for the Macy's Sunday Story Hour provided by the Macy's Foundation.
