Macy's Sunday Story Time: Ruby's Wish
Sunday, October 5th, 2014 | 11:30 am

Every Sunday. Free with Museum Admission. Recommended for Ages 3-7.

Ruby’s Wish by Shirin Yim Bridges, illustrated by Sophie Blackall

This month, we are celebrating the recent opening of our special exhibition Chinese American: Exclusion/Inclusion with four different Asian American immigration stories. Come hear the inspiring story of Ruby, a young Chinese girl who dreams of studying at a university during a time when only boys were allowed to attend.

From the seventeenth century to the twenty-first, through fiction and through fact, hear tales of NYC and the people who made it great.

Support for the Macy's Sunday Story Hour provided by the Macy's Foundation.
