Sunday Story Time: Last Stop on Market Street
Sunday, November 5th, 2017 | 11:30 am

Free with Museum Admission
Ages 3–7

This week at Sunday Story Time we’re discussing ways to give back to our community. After reading Last Stop on Market Street by Matt de la Peña, illustrated by Christian Robinson, we’ll create handmade greeting cards to donate to City Meals on Wheels. The cards will accompany meals and visits in preparation for the Thanksgiving season.

City Meals on Wheels provides meals and companionship to elderly homebound New Yorkers. The organization is known for providing healthy meals to seniors, including weekend and holiday meals.  City Meals on Wheels also provides emergency meals and emergency food packages for winter weather as well as friendly visiting, phone calls, and letters for isolated seniors.
