Ages 3–7

KA-POW! ZAP! BOOM! This month Sunday Story Time is celebrating American superheroes! Stop by to listen to a heroic tale and to check out our special exhibition Superheroes in Gotham, closing February 21. The Courageous Captain America adapted by Billy Wrecks. Did you know that Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America, was a New-Yorker? He was born right here in Manhattan on the Lower East Side! This week, we’ll be joined by our friends from Planet Han for a second reading of the story in Mandarin Chinese along with a quick Chinese vocabulary lesson and hands-on activity. From the 17th to the 21st century, through fiction and through fact, hear tales of New York City and the people who made it great.
