Sunday Story Time: The Wall
Sunday, January 21st, 2018 | 11:30 am

Free with Museum Admission
Ages 3-7

This week at Sunday Story Time we’re reading The Wall by Eve Bunting, illustrated by Ronald Himlerk, which tells the story of a boy visiting Maya Lin’s Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial in Washington, D.C., with his father in search of the name of his lost grandfather. We’ll be discussing paying respect to service members, the meaning of our family legacy, and the importance of public art. Children will create a crayon rubbing to take home. Make sure you also check out our exhibition The Vietnam War: 1945 – 1975.
