Sunday Story Time: Where Do Steam Trains Sleep at Night?
Sunday, January 22nd, 2017 | 11:30 am

Free with Museum Admission
Ages 3–7

Where do trains sleep at night? Do high-speed trains snuggle with teddy bears or sing lullabies? Do monorails sway to sleep in rocking chairs? Do subways tuck themselves in under warm blankets?

Find out this week at a very special Sunday Story Time with special guest Planet Han. After we read Where Do Steam Trains Sleep at Night?, Planet Han will translate the story into Chinese and teach everyone a few words, then we’ll make a craft!

Sunday Story Time is celebrating the special exhibition Holiday Express: Toys and Trains from the Jerni Collection with train stories for two whole months!

Where Do Steam Trains Sleep at Night? written by Brianna Caplan Sayres. Illustrated by Christian Slade, 2016.
