The New-York Historical Society offers wonderful opportunities for parents and children to learn about New York and American History together. They explore our galleries and collections and use historically accurate touch objects to understand what like for New Yorkers of the past.
The New-York Historical Society, New York’s oldest museum, presents developmentally appropriate and engaging themes on topics that examine different eras across the centuries. These programs are language rich and provide excellent opportunities for parents to support heir children’s learning and advance everyone’s knowledge of our local and national history.
Program includes:
- Museum admission for families day-of program (Saturday or Sunday)
- History-themed interactive program led by two museum educators (90 minutes).
- Maximum 60 total adults and children per program
