Each semester, the New-York Historical Society offers New York City Department of Education-approved professional-credit (P-Credit) courses related to museum collections and exhibitions. In these 36-hour professional development programs, we provide teachers with strong historical content knowledge, skills for interpreting primary sources and exciting instructional strategies to incorporate into their classrooms. Participants receive resource guides and curriculum material relevant to the course.
