Description:
Cream colored paper, medium-weight, machine-made wove paper. Both pieces folded in half. One piece has streak of gray watercolor paint across its center. Both pieces slightly sun-damaged and dirty.

According to the accession records, this tabouret was used by Asher B. Durand, an artist and engraver best known for his Hudson River school paintings.
