White silk "Stevengraph" ribbon (bookmark) woven with red, white and blue braid at top with yellow and gold banner beneath, "1492/ 1892" and "400th/ ANNIVERSARY" below in red; "IN COMMEMORATION/ OF THE DISCOVERY OF" in blue; "AMERICA 1492" in red; "LANDING OF COLUMBUS/ OCT 12TH 1492/ AND THE" in blue; "STAR SPANGLED BANNER/ O LONG WAY IT WAVE" in red and "OER THE LAND OF THE FREE/ AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE" in blue. Central black and white woven image of Columbus and his men setting foot on American soil; Red, white, blue and gold image of American flag and eagle at bottom. Fringed edge at bottom. Paper mount printed in black with "SOUVENIR/ COLUMBIAN CELEBRATION,/ New York, October 8th to 13th, 1892./ WOVEN IN PURE SILK."
