In response to the 9/11 terrorist attack, Nancy Kane, a Starbuck's Coffee manager from Texas, followed her sister Meg Lee, who traveled from Texas to spend two weeks in NYC volenteering in the 9/11 relief effort with her church. Ms. Kane aqquired coffee-making supplies from a local Starbuck's, and served much needed coffee and hot beverages to relief workers who came through Saint Paul's chapel. This is the apron Ms. Kane wore while working at the parish's relief center.
