Description: 
Ecru linen baby bonnet with cambric and handmade linen bobbin lace, made in two panels, the panel at the back of the head is round and is surrounded by the second panel which goes over the head from ear to ear, the panels have alternating bands of hand embroidered whitework on cambric and lace, there is one band which is wider over the top of the head which is cambric with six rows of tucks; the outer edges are trimmed with ruffled bobbin lace with scalloped beaded edges, two fabric tape ties are threaded through casing along the neck edge to cinch the bonnet snug.
