Description: 
Mahogany and gilt wood Federal banjo clock; circular painted dial plate with roman numerals with conforming circular mahogany hood with gilded eagle finial; tapered waist with gilded beaded edge, eglomisé panel with polychrome scrollwork and apllied pierced brass side arms; rectangular base with gilded beaded edge, eglomise panel with star-shaped pendulum peep-hole and polychrome Neptune in a shell being pulled by sea horses; beneath are nine gilded balls and a fan-shaped fluted plinth with acorn pendant; brass works and pendulum inside.
