Belt clasp fastener

Silver belt clasp fastener in two parts with hook and eye at the center; each half is vertical rectangular with rounded corners, leaf design down the center surrounded with double row of studs; bars with teeth on outsides of reverse for belt attachment. Worn by Ms. Arthur Levy.

This belt clasp fastener was originally worn by Louisa Barnard Levy (Mrs. Arthur Lumley Levy, 1807-1887), the donor's grandmother.
