Description: 
Wooden (probably oak) bottle case composed of chest with metal fittings nailed on to corners and edges, iron strap hinges, rosette mounts with bail handle at each side, and lock at front; inside covered in red and blue patterned paper (with padding on inside of lid) divided into three compartments, two further divided into three compartments for large bottles, one divided into six compartments for smaller bottles; colorless blown glass bottles, four larger and four smaller, rectangular with straight sides, short cylindrical necks with ridge formed by second gather, flat bases, and ground pontil marks; decorated with bands of shallow-cut ovals outlining shoulders and sides and large abstract flowers and leaves; cork stoppers with metal sheaths with rings.
