Description: 
Gold and stone mosaic brooch / pendant and pair of bracelets set (demi-parure); each mosaic is slightly different, but all have floral designs in various colors of chalcedony set in black marble; oval brooch is set in gold a-jour bezel with bail finding, hinged pin and hook attachments on reverse, with geometric floral design around rim; each bracelet has 6 oval mosaics hinged together with fleur-de-lis links near top and bottom, with metal clasp fasteners.

Italian mosiac jewelry such as this demi-parure (jewelry suite) was popular among American tourists in Europe during the 19th century. The pair of matching bracelets, one worn on each wrist, date this jewelry set early in the Victorian era. This jewelry suite was among the items in a jewelry box which came from the Livingston family.
