Description: 
Black painted wood handle, tapers to end, tip broken off. Cylindrical, seamed metal ferrule with two rows of "///" pattern printed at base. Yellowed bristles.
Gallery Label: 
Devoe did not begin making brushes until the late 1870s. The company became F.W. Devoe & C.T. Raynolds in 1890.
