Silver clasp fastener in two parts, in the form of a sunflower with hook and eye closure; petals radiate from oval center with monogram initial on each half, "A" and "O".

This buckle belonged to Abigail Ogden (1765-1820) of Elizabeth, New Jersey, who married Ezekiel Ogden, Jr. (1765-1822) in 1787. It was donated by her great granddaughter.
