The family of Chilean military commander Rene Schneider, who was killed in 1970 during a botched kidnapping, filed a federal lawsuit accusing Henry A. Kissinger, Richard M. Helms and other officials in the Nixon administration of orchestrating a series of covert activities that led to his assassination. This button makes reference to the event.
