George Washington centennial cane.
A number of canes were created to celebrate the 1876 Centennial. This cane features a silver bust of George Washington as the handle. Copper buttons ornament the sides of the wooden stick. It was part of a series of canes made for the Centennial Exhibition in Philadelphia. Another cane in the series featured Abraham Lincoln.
