This copper-colored metal bank is made to resemble a mantel clock and has a wind-up clock in it. Coins are inserted just below the clock face, just above a plaque reading "Central Savings Bank/ In the City of New York/ Corner Fourth Avenue and 14th Street". On the rear is a relief of an explorer landing on a tropical shore.
