Description: 
Lyre-shaped silver medal with twisted wire strings surmounted with sun's rays; "Honor" engraved on obverse in block letters; "Horatio G. Stevens" and "Columbian Anacreontic Society" on reverse.
Gallery Label: 
The Columbian Anacreontic Society was organized in 1795 and, until it passed out of existence in 1803, was one of the most important musical organizations in New York City. This medal was presented to Horatio Gates Stevens (1778-1873).
