Emilie Aglae Cox was the daughter of Dr. John Palmer Cox of Rhinebeck, New York, and Emilie (Vaché) Cox; she was the sister of John Vaché Cox of New York. In 1842 she became the wife of Thomas Henry. Her portrait was a gift to the Society from her niece.
