This woman's hand fan is made of paper and has a wood handle. One side has a print of a cherub riding two lion-faced sea monsters. The reverse reads, in part, "Simpson's 725 & 727 6th Ave. near 42nd. St./ Clearing Out Straw Hats & Bonnets... / Seasonable Novelties in Laces, Embroideries...".
