Description: 
Bronze struck medal with obverse showing nude laureated bust of Ferdinand VII facing right, with surrounding legend: "FERN.VII.POR LA G.DE DIOS Y LA CONST. DE LA MON.REY DE LAS ESPANAS." Reverse shows nude European in ancient Roman helmet and Native American in feathered headdress flanking open book placed upon two halves of the world globe and inscribed: "CONSTI/TUCI/ON/POLITI/CA/DE LA/MONAR/QUIA/ESPANO/LA"; sun rising above; inscription in exergue: "PROMULGADA EN CADIZ/A 19 DE MARZO DE/1812."
