According to the donor, Sergeant Major A.P. Harding, age 21 enrolled in New York City for duty August 26, 1862, in 132nd Regiment, N/Y.S. Volunteers commanded by Colonel P.J. Claussen for a period of three years on October 4, 1862. Sgt. Haring received 25 dollars bounty from Muster Rolls NYS Volunteers IV 597.
