Description: 
Blue (now faded to purple) textile hat with soft cylindrical crown with flat top, and rigid, horizontal visor with rounded edge; chin strap of knotted blue cord secured at either side by a plain metal button; circular metal insignia pin with design in red, white, and blue enamel consisting of initials "CD" inside a triangle inscribed in a circle; brown leather sweatband and brown (synthetic?) textile lining.
