Ice skates with steel blade with long curving tip painted black and attached to carved wooden base with leather straps at heel and toe; spikes project from top of wooden base.

These ice skates belonged to the donor's grandfather, Jeremiah Bogardus (1800-1876), who lived in Athens (Greene Co.), N.Y.
