Iron object excavated at the British military camp on the Dyckman farm in Washington Heights, Manhattan; square body with two large keyholes on opposite sides and series of small holes on all sides; large, circular link and smaller hourglass-shaped link fastened to body.

This object was excavated by the Field Exploration Committee at the British camp on the Dyckman farm, between Seaman and Payson Avenues and 204th Street, in Washington Heights. It was possibly a leg or ankle iron that was used to restrain prisoners.
