Elizabeth Marshall Lamson was the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth (Marshall) Lamson of New York. She met her husband, Victor Arthur Wellington Drummond of Cadlands, England, when he was attached to the British embassy in Washington. They were married ca. 1882. Lady Drummond lived abroad most of her life and died in Paris.
