The subject was born in New York, the daughter of Albert Kintzing and Maria de Trobriand Post. In 1891 she was married to Hamilton Fish Webster (d. 1939), grandson of Hamilton Fish, and in 1901 they established their home in Newport, Rhode Island. Mrs. Webster was active in Democratic party politics and was president of the Newport Garden Club.
