Eliza Skeel was the daughter of Theron and Elizabeth Skeel of Brooklyn. Laura Skeel, the artist, was her sister. Eliza Skeel married Isaac Otis at the Church of the Pilgrims, in Brooklyn, on June 6, 1848.
