Description: 
Olive drab wool militia officer's double-breasted overcoat (mackinaw); double collar with rounded corners; 4 buttons down each side of the front; 4 pockets onthe front with flaps which button closed; general's rank black sleeve knots; belt attached at the waist, with 2 buttons on the right, 2 buttonholes on the left; one panel on the back; unlined; found with 2 strap fragments in one of the pockets.

This mackinaw was worn by Colonel Willard C. Fisk during World War I, while in command of the 107th Infantry, 7th Regiment, New York National Guard.
