engraved: on the undersides of the handles: "LBS" in script stamped: on the undersides of the stems: "S" in a winged circle, "STERLING" and "THEODORE B. STARR"
Six silver oyster forks with downturned oval handles with an allover floral pattern on the front and the undersides of the handles engraved, "LBS" in script; three curved and pointed tines on each; maker's marks stamped on the undersides of the stems.
Gallery Label: 
The initials "LBS" refer to Louise Bancker Stafford (1860-1934) who married William Howard Gilder in 1881.
