Description: 
Pair of cast, seamed and wrought Sheffield plate candlesticks with bobeches; tapered conical shafts with molded acanthus leaf decoration around the bottoms; applied, cast convex shoulders with chased acanthus scrolls and spiral gadrooning around the edges and baluster necks, supporting cast sockets with globular lower bodies with molded acanthus decoration, cylindrical necks, and molded rims; circular, cast bobeches with applied, chased foliate, shell and gadrooned rims; shafts set on cast circular feet with a bands of chased foliate, shells and gadrooning; pedestals raised in the centers to squat, globular knops covered in molded acanthus leaves; bases weighted; no maker's marks.
