A Birmingham, Alabama -based FBI Special Agent was inspired to donate this piece, which was recovered from the Fresh Kills Landfill, after seeing the television documentary "Relics From the Rubble" on the History Channel. This program discussed the New York Historical Society's collecting efforts in regard to the 9/11/01 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.
