Description: 
Gold Masonic pendant in the form of a compass and partial protractor with sunburst suspended from the arm of the compass, symbolic triangle on reverse of sunburst, finding at the top, with nine paste gems in a diamond beneath; fan shaped wooden case covered with brown leather with two metal hook and eye clasps along one side, the lid is lined with brown satin, the box is lined with brown velvet.

This pendant was presented to W. P. M. Asher Martin (1782-1853) by the Washington Lodge No. 16 when he reached the rank of 33rd Degree, 1815.
