A beige pinback button printed with a state seal, crest, symbol or motto from U.S. states and territories; marked "Idaho", with a shield with mountains and a river, topped by a buck's head, flanked by a woman and a miner with a shovel under a red banner in Latin "Esto Perpetua". Part of a series of pre-World War I United States state buttons; some of the region names are no longer current. The reverse is printed "Sweet Caporal Cigarette", indicating that this button was part of a series of collectible premiums given by tobacco and gum manufacturers.
