A beige pinback button printed with a state seal, crest, symbol or motto from U.S. states and territories; marked "Alabama", with an eagle standing on a red, white and blue stars and stripes shield with a blue banner in its beak. Part of a series of pre-World War I United States state buttons; some of the region names are no longer current. This button was part of a series of collectible premiums given by tobacco and gum manufacturers.
