Description 
Glazed earthenware pitcher; cylindrical body molded in relief with image of Washington with his officers on one side, U.S. Capitol with Washington and other figures on the other side, and scroll with signatures of the signers of the Declaration under the spout; spout with molded portrait of Washington; handle wrapped in American flag; inscription around base, "First in War, First in Peace, First in the Hearts of His Countrymen" and "Declaration of Independence;" painted inscription on base.
