Molded oval pearlware platter with foot ring, scalloped rim and pierced handles (2) in low relief; printed in blue violet with river scene:cows at bank in foreground, steamer, homes, hills in background. (Larsen, 3rd ed., no. 142)

paper collector's label: affixed: "From Fishkill 15 1/2 inches purplish light blue platter. Fine color and proof. One of the rarest of all views in the H.R. Series. This is the first I haved owned but, teh second I have seen (in any color). If Pushed in my bidding I would have gone higher than this when it was sold" $45.00- Laidacker - 6/15/44
