Description 
Reproduction of this drawing in Beckwith scrapbooks in NYHS library, volume 1, page 45. Captioned: "Virgin and Child from "The Flight into Egypt."" Also see NY Times article, March 8, 1895, "Cannon Talks Claptrap." In a later section titled, "An Exhibition of Madonnas," the article mentions JCB's watercolor "Flight into Egypt." Drawing from a bound album with 180 drawings (179 tipped in, one on verso of albumn page) by Beckwith and Sargent. Verso: Sketch of a man, seen from behind.
